Marco Simoncelli – Portrait #58

I was approached earlier this year by a gentleman from the Czech Republic for a commissioned portrait.   Turns out he is a big fan of Marco Simoncelli (who isn’t) and had seen my work on line and particularly liked my previous portrait of his other hero, Valentino Rossi.

He also supported the work of the Marco Simoncelli Fondazione and wanted to help raise funds for them.  The best way to do this, we agreed, would be to once again, raise funds from the sale of the prints from this original pencil drawing.

So here it is, pencil portrait of Marco Simoncelli.  Approximately 8/10 weeks work with many, many different pencils!!

There will be, 58 copies, with number 58/58 going to the Simoncelli family, as with our previous 4 pieces of Marco.  A minimum of £1,000, or 10% of the profit, whichever is the greater, will go to the Fondazione taking our total raised to date to well over €18,000.  All made possible by you, the customer.  In anticipation, we say a big Thank You 🙂

Standard print will come with the 58 in red but you can also have it with the 58 in pencil.  There are also 2 variations in the Di-bond.  One with a black border and one just full portrait.  I will email you to confirm your choice.
